A formidable 14th-century fortress built by the Reddy kings, Kondaveedu Fort is located about 20 km from Guntur city and is considered one of the strongest forts in medieval South India. Perched atop a hill and comprising 21 grand structures including gateways, temples, and granaries, it offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and an immersive journey through Andhra's martial history. The recent discovery of a Buddhist stupa within the complex has further elevated its significance as an archaeological site.
